I have served as general counsel to several Ocean County municipalities, and have represented various planning and zoning boards. This experience has been invaluable in providing services to clients who are seeking land use approvals as well as other clients that have regular interactions with local governments. I have been successful in obtaining real estate tax reductions on behalf of residential and commercial property owners.

I am proficient in a wide range of legal issues affecting the elderly population including estate planning, Medicaid Law, guardianships, and estate administration. It is important to me to be an advocate on behalf of the elderly client and give the clients the information they need to make informed decisions.

I am a Certified Elder Law Attorney, also known as "CELA." This Certification is given to lawyers who have proven they have enhanced knowledge, skills and experience in the specialized area of law dealing with issues affecting the elderly, disabled and their families. It is important to me to be an advocate on behalf of the elderly or disabled client and give the clients the information they need to make informed decisions.

I have been committed to the practice of law since December 1991 when I received my Juris Doctorate degree with Tax Honors from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey. I am a Registered Guardian with the National Guardianship Association and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Prior to pursuing my law career, I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.

I am admitted to the New Jersey Supreme Court as well as the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, the United States District Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
