Much of my legal career has been spent in the courtroom. Representing clients, through the stress of litigation and trial, has developed a keen awareness of what truly matters in a successful attorney-client relationship. Nothing short of total concern for your client is acceptable. I would like to think it has become a habit.

Years of private practice, representing clients in civil, criminal, business and regulatory difficulties, provides more than just experience; it provides invaluable insights into people and organizations, their thinking and behavior. Whether handling complex business litigation, automobile accident cases, product liability claims, professional negligence as well as zoning and other regulatory hearings in the Civil Courts or everything from arson to murder in the Criminal Courts, client concern, insight and hard work is a powerful combination.

I was proud to be among the handful of New Jersey Lawyers certified by our Supreme Court as both a Criminal and Civil Trial Attorney when the specialization programs were first initiated in 1982. My practice skills were enhanced by public service as a Municipal Prosecutor and, for more than seven years as lead Public Defender in Ocean County and Burlington County under the State Public Defender system.

The 1990's brought me to the public sector full time, first as a Director of a unit in the Governor's Office, then as General Counsel to the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, and ultimately to a five-year term as Ocean County Prosecutor.

Upon returning to private practice, I believe that what I offer is enhanced by where I've been. In fact, this applies to our entire firm.
