Annemarie Schreiber,
Certified Elder Law Attorney

Elder Law | Estate and Trust Administration | Estate Litigation | Guardianship | Estate Planning | Residential Real Estate | Adoption | Special Needs Trusts

“A thorough understanding of the client’s needs will ensure that their desired results are achieved.”

The difference between a job and a career is passion. My passion for elder law is why I became a Certified Elder Law Attorney. Working at CLDDS has afforded me countless opportunities to do what I love: help others.

Throughout my legal career, I have been fortunate in being exposed to many different areas of the law including, representation of public sector clients and assisting those clients in litigation matters, various land use matters, contract matters, employer/employee matters, adoptions and guardianship cases. However, it was my work on guardianship matters that truly sparked my interest in elder law. Nothing satisfied me more or felt more fulfilling than helping someone who needed it. To know you made a difference in someone’s life, no matter how small, is such a rewarding feeling. I believe my dedication to elder care is evident in dealing with my clients. I am devoted to helping them with whatever their needs may be, from drafting a simple will or power of attorney to assisting them with more complex matters such as estate probate or litigation.

Listening is key to understanding a client’s needs, and a thorough understanding of the client’s needs ensures their desired results are achieved. Dealing with the many issues the elderly face is often intimidating and my focus is eliminating that stress by making the process as easy and painless as possible for my clients. Each case or client is special, and I am committed to providing the attentiveness and legal experience required.

As an out of state resident, I simply retained this firm(after rejection of others) simply to be bonded in state of NJ. Unaware of the level of dependency I would soon develop not only in protecting last wishes of my recently & unexpectedly deceased aunt but also threats of prosecution from an estranged relative. Christina desGroseilliers services have had no limits, beyond professionally& victorious, her empathy & passion only exceeded any expectations I had. Am truly grateful for rejections of other firms as I am sure the outcome wouldn't have resulted in the + matter in which it did& certainly not handled with the level of compassion & support received in an already soul aching time of loss in my life. *Special thanks to Annemarie Schreiber, who initially accepted me as a client and delegated my case to yet another set of beyond capable and compassionate hands.

Client

Newfield, NJ 3/28/2022 I wanted to take a few minutes and share my experiences with this law firm. I initially dealt with Annmarie Schreiber, and she helped me set up a new Will and POA. She was a HUGE help and explained everything to me. She was extremely thorough throughout the process! I had some issues with some paperwork, and she was immediately on the phone with the other law firm and straightened them out right away! I was very glad to have her in my corner. When I went to sell my house, I went back to her, and she introduced me to Christina DesGroseilliers. WOW! She was beyond helpful and would reply almost immediately to ALL of my questions. I don't know how she was able to get back to me so quickly...it must be her superpower! I had some issues with a buyer's attorney, and she guided me as to how I should handle the situation. She always took my calls and never once made me feel like I was being annoying with all my questions! I also had dealt with Colleen Carling, and she was very pleasant as well! I would not hesitate for a SECOND to use this law firm again! 10 stars out of 5. A+++

I just wanted to thank Annemarie for the time she spent with my mother - Gretel. Annemarie gave my mom peace of mind and put her at ease regarding her estate plans. Thank you.

Ms. Schreiber was extremely knowledgeable and totally put our minds at ease while my husband and I obtained guardianship for our disabled son. She made it seem easy and worry-free. Parents of disabled children have so many other concerns that they need to address over the course of their children's lives that it was such a pleasure having Ms. Schreiber represent us. Along with being professional, she was also very loving and kind. We can't thank her enough!

Ms. Schreiber has a thorough and accurate knowledge of the disabled. She answered specific questions regarding the guardianship of my very handicapped daughter. Ms. Schreiber became familiar with my daughter's case and did not generalize questions about her disability or her care. She made sure information was provided to me at my convenience, when I was available, and fought for my child not to have to attend a court appearance. This would have been tramatic due to her disabling condition. All questions were answered and I was at ease with the level of confidence she held and passed on to me throughout the guardianship process. I would recommend Ms. Schreiber to those seeking compassionate assistance.

JUDITH

I first met Annemarie about a year ago when I needed someone who I could trust & provide advice on matters of selling my parents place of residence due to illness, passing & the settling of estate matters. It was refreshing to finally have an attorney who took the stress & worry out of handling such matters during extremely difficult times. Once these items were completed, to which great care & attention were given, I then retained her services for my own personal family needs. Again everything went like clockwork; smoothly & without any stress associated with such issues & needs. Annemarie's experience, guidance & assistance on matters regarding estate planning as well as social security disability were/and are invaluable. This is the first time that I can say in all my years of working with attorneys, from a professional & personal standpoint, that someone actually responded back, put forth a plan, executed it, advised well, followed up, made sure "t's" were crossed, "i's" dotted and returned calls & emails in more than a timely fashion. She has two wonderful assistants, Sandra and Grace, who, together and individually, form a great team. Annemarie's values, experience and care for her clients definitely sets her apart from the rest. No one client is the same or has the same need to which Annemarie understands and pays great attention to. Without hesitation, I have already recommended Annemarie to others and will continue to do so.
