Angela Dalton was chosen by the 17-member New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Nominating Committee to serve as the next NJSBA Secretary. One of the candidates whom the Nominating Committee did not select, has filed a protest petition. Now the general membership of the Bar Assocaition will decide, by paper ballot, sent between April 18 and May 9, who will serve as the next NJSBA Secretary.
Angela’s vision for the NJSBA, is a more relevant, affordable and diverse than her opponent. She wants the NJSBA to provide value to the membership. Angela has worked hard chairing several committees of the NJSBA, including Membership, Judicial Administration, Young Lawyers Division And Women In The Profession. Angela has always worked on behalf of the general membership, providing better events, programs and services that meet the needs of the average NJSBA member. She has served for six years as a trustee of her county bar association. She is with Zager, Fuchs, a firm in Monmouth County. Angela is also active in the community and has served as a deputy mayor for her town and overseen a $30 million municipal budget.
