Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation

“Skills are cheap. Passion is priceless.” ― Gary Vaynerchuk

Adversaries, Judges, and even fellow colleagues comment on my preparation to a case. Whether it’s a trial, a hearing, or just a simple court appearance. I dedicate my time to being prepared. Being prepared is more than simply doing one’s job. For me, being prepared stems from being passionate about what I do.

This passion began in law school. I developed a love for criminal litigation. In April 2015, while I was still in law school, I tried a misdemeanor jury trial as a student-prosecutor for the Bristol District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts. A month later, I tried a bench trial as a student-attorney for my law school’s Advanced Criminal Defense Clinic.

Since then, I’ve tried numerous jury trials to conclusion. During my time as a criminal litigator, I’ve represented clients from a simple speeding ticket, all the way up to aggravated sexual assault and murder charges. In the course of that time, I’ve even represented celebrities on domestic violence and drug cases. I’ve also handled civil litigation matters that ranged from a simple fender bender to a death due to a car accident. Part of my passion, however, is knowing my clients are satisfied with the result. It also gives me great satisfaction in knowing that my client has a voice, and that voice is listened to and understood.

Prior to joining CLDDS, I worked for a firm focusing exclusively on criminal litigation. Prior to that, I worked as staff counsel defending clients in car accident cases.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Rhode Island. Soon thereafter, I received my Juris Doctor Degree from Roger Williams University School of Law where I was a student-attorney for the Criminal Defense Clinic & the Advanced Criminal Defense Clinic, as well as a student-prosecutor for the Bristol County D.A. After law school, I was accepted to Princeton University Continuing Education Program and enrolled in Philosophy of Law which dealt exclusively with criminal cases.
