TOMS RIVER, NJ – A Starry Night Art Auction & Reception will be held on June 9, 2022 from 6pm to 8:30 pm at The John F. Peto Studio Museum in Island Heights. The rain date for this event is June 16. The night’s honorees include Ken Malagiere, Executive Director of the Ocean County College Foundation and owner of Narcissus Florals and Jonathan Petro, Managing Partner of Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle & Sacks, LLC – the firm is also a Portrait of Hope Sponsor at the event. Executive Chef Mike Jurusz of AGB in Seaside Park will be providing a palette of savory delights and libations, and musical performances will be provided by Zzak G. AOK Performance Group.

“The Studio Museum features the home and studio of John Frederick Peto (1854-1907), an important late nineteenth century figure in the trompe l’oeil style of American still life painting,” said Timothy P. Zeiss, Director of Development & Marketing for Ocean’s Harbor House. “This historic building is a precious gem in our community and a perfect host to celebrate and support our kids.”

All event proceeds will go to Ocean’s Harbor House.

“It is an honor to support Ocean’s Harbor House’s mission as they provide shelter, support and services for homeless and vulnerable youth,” said Petro.

Malagiere continues, “Community support and collaboration is the backbone of Ocean’s Harbor House. Through events like this annual art auction, we can all play a small role in addressing the needs of runaway and homeless youth. Ocean’s Harbor House provides services to young people in need of healing by meeting them wherever they are on their journey to help them rewrite their stories and build bright futures.”
